REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, MANADO -- North Sulawesi Governor Sinyo Harry Sarundajang has assured Chinese Prime Minister Li Keqiang that his province is open for investors from China, provincial administration spokesperson Linda Wantania stated here on Wednesday (28/1).
Linda noted that Governor Sarundajang accompanied by Coordinating Minister for Economy Sofyan Djalil met Prime Minister Li Keqiang in Beijing on Tuesday.
She revealed that during the meeting, Sarundajang offered all potential sectors such as fisheries, tourism, agriculture, including supporting infrastructure projects for maritime axis and the development of Bitung Special Economic Zone (SEZ).
Linda remarked that the governor also elaborated on the development projects in the districts of Sangihe, Talaud, and Sitaro; construction of the Manado-Bitung toll road; and development of the geothermal potential in the districts of Bolmong, Minahasa, and Tomohon.
