REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) projected credit growth in the range of 10 percent in business plan (RBB) 2016. President Director of BCA Jahja Setiaatmadja said, in RBB 2016, BCA stated credit growth target of 10 percent due to current economic ability. However, in the fourth quarter of 2015 he saw the trend of economic growth rate improved.

"If it later the trend improves, we set up to 14 percent, in terms of liquidity and CAR," he said, in Jakarta, Monday (14/12).

Jahja revelaed, BCA would soon submit RBB 2016 to the regulator. According to him, the projected credit growth as still tentative. Therefore, RBB could still be revised again in June 2016, if BCA saw improvements in the first and second quarter of 2016.

Next year credit growth would be driven by lending in infrastructure sector. If the government's infrastructure projects already started, there certainly would be a lot of demand from the infrastructure sector. He also saw demand in investment sector, but the amount was not too large.

"If the economy was recovering, purchasing power would increase again in consumption sector, such as food and clothing," he added.

Residential credit (KPR) was estimated to be positive. However, mortgage growth still depended on the interest rate offered. If mortgage rates were below 10 percent, it would evolve.

"KPR BCA will still thrive because companies dare to offer a rate in the range of 8.8 percent," Jahja said.

Meanwhile, the growth of third party funds (DPK) was projected in the range of 10 percent by 2016. Meanwhile, Bank Indonesia was targeting growth in DPK in the range of 13-14 percent next year.

According to Jahja, the target was assumed due to policy of tax amnesty which would be run next year. Funds from the outside would enter and encourage the growth of DPK.
