No disabilities, burnt down school, nor living behind the bar can undermine their spirit to keep trying and doing the junior highs chool level of national exam. The students of South Banjar 2 Islamic Junior High School (MTsN), Banjarmasin, do the National Exam (UN) 2012 on Monday in the wreckage of their burned school. The building was caught on fire last Friday. Three of six class rooms were burnt down.

The students attending UN should do their examination in the remaining rooms, which are laboratory, teacher room, and praying room. The Deputy Speaker of South Kalimantan House of Representatives, Fathurrahman, and the Chairman of Commission IV, Habib Ali Khaidir Al Kaff, were moved when they saw the condition.

“We are so moved seeing the students diligently do the UN in the middle of wreckage,” they said. They also hope all students can pass the national exam.

The Headmaster, Abdul Hadi, said there were 133 students who attended the test. He is proud of their spirit. “We hope the building can soon be repaired,” Hadi said.
