REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA – Jamsostek, a state-owned insurance company, would compensate 19 out of 45 Sukhoi Superjet 100 crash victims with 8 billion IDR for the total value, the Head of Jamsostek Region III Office, Herdi Trisanto, said on Thursday. While the amount given to each heir's victim varies.
“We directly gather the data when the accident happened,” Trisanto said.
The data says some companies pay insurance premium based on the actual salary, some based on half salary, some register few workers, and some register no one.
For the companies which reports only half salary, Jamsostek gave the matter to the family whether they acquiescently received fewer compensation or asked the company to add the compensation, the Executive Director of Jamsostek, Hotbonar Sinaga, said earlier.
“We are ready to compensate the heirs of the victims if they are ready,” Hotbonar said. The victims worked in Indonesia Air Transport, PT Dirgantara Indonesia, Air Maleo, Pelita Air, Bloomberg, Trans TV, Aviastar, and Sky Aviation.
