REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Russia's Sukhoi had promised to give the compensation for the victims of Sukhoi Superjet 100 crash according to Indonesian regulation cited in Ministerial Regulation 77/2011, the Minister of Transportation, EE Mangindaan, said. The amount agreed on May 22 is 1.25 billion IDR for the heirs of the victims.
"We hope the agreement has been set up," he said on Monday. He added, Sukhoi had appointed Indonesian law firm to visit the families.
Russia's Sukhoi appoints Kapital Insurance Group to hold Sukhoi insurance premium, while the Kapital Insurance Group chooses Airclaims part of McLarens Young International from Singapore with Hilman Fenwick Willan(HFW) as Asian legal liaisons.
HFW appoints Assegaf Hamzah and partner to be its Indonesian legal liaisons. Assegaf Hamzah and Partner would visit the families of the victims this week, the representative of Sukhoi in Indonesia, Trimarga Rekataman, said through its consultant, Sunaryo.
