REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Constitutional Court (MK) will deliver the verdict of Laws number 39/2008 Article 10 on the Ministry of State on Thursday. The regulation will be a reference to consider the position of 20 vice ministers.

The suit on laws on the Ministry of State is sued by National Act on Corruption Eradication (GNPK). The existence of vice ministers was unconstitutional, they said.

"The establishment of vice minister cause disadvantages," the Chairman of GNPK, Adi Warman, said.

Financially, he continued, the vice minister salary was 51.62 million IDR per month. On the three years period of SBY-Boediono, the 20 vice ministers get 37.16 billion IDR. The number does not include the remuneration.

Referring to 2010 State Budget, the budget for each minister and the vice is 15 billion IDR per year. Even some get 21 billion IDR per year. "If we calculate it, state budget is stripped in the amount of 900 billion IDR for 20 vice ministers in three years," he explained.
