REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Garuda Indonesia is ready to include the payment of airport tax with its ticket this September. "The money of airport tax will be transferred to the airport," the Executive Director of Garuda, Emirsyah Satar, said on Wednesday.
Currently, the information technology system of Garuda has been integrated with the airport. Garuda also has discussed the matter with Angkasa Pura I and Angkasa Pura II.
"They responded positively. It is possible to unite the payment of airport tax and ticket," he said.
The Director of Angkasa Pura I, Tommy Soetomo, said the airport was ready to implement the system to provide better service to the passengers. "With this synergy, we help Garuda to reach the status of five stars airline," Soetomo said.
