REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono will hold a state visit to Mongolia and Russia on September 5-10. In Vladivostok, Russia, SBY will attend APEC Summit and deliver keynotes entitled APEC Indonesia 2013: Resilient Asia-Pacific, Engine of Global Growth.
"Chairmanship of APEC will be handed from Rusia to Indonesia," Presidential Staff on International Relations, Teuku Faizasyah, said on Tuesday. SBY will talk on the improvement of regional trade, APEC role on investment, and effort on sustainable growth with equity.
SBY is also scheduled to engage in bilateral meetings with China's President Hu Jintao, Rusia's President Vladimir Putin, Mexican President Felipe Calderon, Peru's President Humala Tasso, and Chile's President Sebastian Pinera on the sidelines of the Summit.
Meanwhile, his visit to Mongolia is an invitation from his Mongolian counterpart President Tsakhia Elbegdorj. The bilateral meeting is aimed to enhance bilateral relationship between Indonesia and Mongolia.
