REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono dismayed the attack towards US consul in Libya recently. Presidential Staff on International Relations, Teuku Faizasyah, said SBY mainly concerned over two matters.
"The main concerns are defamation towards religion and the attack itself which caused the death of US diplomats in the country," Faizasyah said on Thursday.
Based on Geneva Conventions, every country in universal framework must protect diplomat appointed to a foreign state. However, the protest towards 'Innocence of Muslim' movie on Tuesday in Libya led to the death of US Ambassador to Libya Christopher Stevens and three US citizens.
