REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - In its effort to face financial crisis, Coordinating Forum on Financial System Stability (FKKSK) will hold crisis management simulation based on the newly made protocol. The simulation will be held twice.

The first simulation, held in November 2012, will involve Ministry of Finance, Bank Indonesia (BI), and Indonesia Deposit Insurance Corporation (LPS). The second would be held in the first quarter of 2012, Minister of Finance Agus Martowardojo said on Monday.

On crisis management, every institution will be functioned as its capacity. "For instance, if the crisis hit capital market, we would see how it communicates, hold meetings, and take decisions," he said.

Agus said FKSSK had made protocol for crisis management which was reviewed by independent institution Toronto Center. Members of FKSSK; BI, Indonesia Deposit Insurance Corporation(LPS), Indonesia Financial Service Authority (OJK), and Ministry of Finance, also have signed the agreement on coordination and maintenance of financial system. The forum is aimed to exchange information and evaluate the condition of financial stability.
