REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, PONTIANAK - The family of two Indonesians sentenced to death in Malaysia is asking for the help from Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono to save their life. Judge convicted the brothers guilty of killing a robber, a local who broke and enter their house.
Two Indonesians, Frans Hiu (22 years) and Dharry Frully (21 years) are sentenced to death in Shah Alam High Court, Malaysia.
The father of Hiu and Frully, Bong Jit Min (55 years), is sure that his children are innocent. "They accidentally killed the thief," he said then added that the death sentence was unfair for his children.
"Mr President, please save my children’s life," he pleaded.
The incident took place on December 3, 2012. Hiu and Frully were sleeping in their house in Sepang, Malaysia, when a man was breaking and entering their house.
The man, identified as Kharta Raja, a Malaysian, tried to get in the house through the roof. Hiu tried to catch Raja, but he held him so tight that accidentally Raja choked to death.
