REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Minister of Home Affairs Gamawan Fauzi rebukes Governor of Jakarta Joko Widodo as the governor has not ratifed the local budget 2013 yet. The minister urged Widodo or popularly called Jokowi to cooperate with Local House of Representative to settle the issue.

Based on Documents of Minister of Home Affairs No. 903/5326/SJ dated in December 28, 2012, the minister's reprimand is reported to President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, Minister of Finance Agus Martowardojo and The Head of Presidential Unit for Development Monitoring and Control (UKP4) Kuntoro Mangkusubroto.

Spokesman of Ministry of Home Affairs, Reydonnyzar Moenek, said the reprimand was also addressed to Speaker of Local House of Representatives, Ferial Sofyan. "This reprimand is only a reminder to reinforce the development of infrastructure and public works," Moenek said on Wednesday.

He expects the governor and the House to speed up the discussion and consultation process by drafting governor's regulation on Local Budget 2013.
