Controversies
The accident spark controversies as the designer of Tucuxi, Danet Suryatama, accused Minister Iskan for being sloppy. He said that technical failure caused the accident since the 1.5 billion IDR car was taken to Kupu-Kupu Malam Auto Repair Shop in Yogyakarta without involving Suryatama. Instead, Iskan brought his staff.
"They carelessly took over the car and they claimed that it would make it perfect. We object such move because they violate our agreement," he said on Sunday, accusing Iskan to study and imitate his technology.
He claimed that he had pictures portraying Iskan's staff took over the car. The pictures were taken in Kupu-Kupu Malam Auto Repair Shop on December 29, 2012, he said.
