Hary Tanoe left National Demoratic Party

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Media tycoon Hary Tanoesudibjo officially resigns from National Democratic Party (Nasdem) on Monday due to changes in the party structure. "I have rendered my resignation to the Head of the National Assembly of Nasdem, Surya Paloh," said the Head of the Expert Council of Nasdem during a press conference on Monday.

Tanoe admitted that he had some disagreement over some changes in party structure, including Paloh's wish to become the chairman of the party. He argued that the party must be led by young generation. 

"Our future lies on young generation," Tanoe said. 

Tanoe admitted that leaving the party was a difficult decision for him as well as for Paloh. Yet, he will maintain good relationship despite the recent disagreements. 

Following his resignation, Tanoe withdrew the party's advertisement from his media, MNC Group. After withdrawal from Nasdem, Tanouw will continue his political career. Meanwhile, some parties starts showing their interest and open their doors to welcome Tanoe. Among others, a politician from Democratic Party, Ruhut Sitompul, said that the party opened forTanoe. "Welcome home," he said. 

Similar offer also comes from Great Indonesia Movement Party (Gerindra). "We both have an intensive communication," head of Gerindra, Suhardi, said and added that Tanoe would make his decision within two days.
