REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Jakarta Police Department announced on Wednesday that no more dead bodies found in flooded UOB Plaza building in Central Jakarta. Water flooded four basements of UOB Plaza after Latuharhary dike in South Jakarta collapsed last Thursday due to intense rain.

"We have drained and cleaned the basements. No more dead bodies found," Spokesman of Jakarta Police Department, Rikwanto, said on Wednesday.

Disaster Victim Identification of Indonesian Police Headquarter has also combed the area. Earlier, evacuation team found two dead bodies inside the basements.

The cars parked in the basements have also been evacuated. Police noted that there were 66 cars inside the building. "Police will help the owners make a new vehicle registration," he said.

However, police have not yet concluded whether the flood caused by human error. "No conclusion yet. It is a technical matter. Wwe are still wondering, why the water submerge the basements and the victims fail to escape?" he said and added that police would cooperate with experts to investigate the case.
