Jokowi meets with Danish and Chinese ambassadors

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Ambassador of Denmark Martin Bille Hermann and Ambassador of China visited Governor of Jakarta Joko Widodo in seperate occasions in City Hall on Wednesday. Hermann said that his visit was aimed to discuss several things, such as climate changing, with Joko Widodo, known as Jokowi, and his deputy. Saying that Denmark was inundated two years ago due to high intensity rainfall, he was willing to share flood management with Jakarta.

Meanwhile, Chinese Ambassador Liu Jianchao said that he was proud that China could cooperate with Jakarta in the procurement of 60 buses for public transportation in Jakarta. He also said that he could share Chinese experience of flood management. "We have experts on flood management," he said.
