KPK summons Minister of Agriculture over graft case

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) summoned Minister of Agriculture Suswono on Monday for questioning as witness of graft case on imported beef in the ministry.

"If KPK needs my information, I am ready to present to deliver what KPK wants," Suswono said on Monday in KPK Headquarter. 

KPK has named four suspects in the imported beef scandal. The suspects are the former Chairman of Prosperous Justice Party (KPK) Luthfi Hasan Ishaaq, Ahmad Fathanah, Juard Effendi and the Director of imported beef company Indoguna Utama, Arya Abdi Effendi. 

KPK also plans to question the Executive Director of PT Indoguna Utama, Maria Elisabeth Liman, and former Chairman of Indonesian Seeding Association, Elda Devianne Adiningrat, over the case.
