REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, BOGOR - Slovak Ambassador to Indonesia, Stefan Rozkopal, visited Bogor, West Java, on Wednesday to seek cooperation on waste management with the local government. He said that Slovakia, particularly Bratislava, had successfully managed its waste.
"What's interesting is that Bogor has bigger population that Bratislava," he said on Wednesday.
Indonesia and Slovakia has a long cooperation in tourism. For Slovak, Indonesia is a popular tourism destination. Every year, about 200,000 Slovak tourists visit Indonesia.
He encouraged Indonesians to visit Slovakia. "With Schengen Visa, Indonesians can visit Slovakia," he said.
He said that the current relations between Indonesia and Slovakia could be a great start to have cooperation between Slovakia and Bogor on waste management.
