Indonesia invites Mexico to study Corruption Eradication Commision

tREPUBLIKA.CO.ID,   JAKARTA - Indonesia invites Mexico to study Indonesia's Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) and its experiences on investigating corruption case in the country. Mexico plans to form an anti-corruption commission as a systematic effort to fight corruption.

"We will discuss it further in bilateral meeting with delegation of Mexico parliament," the Head of Indonesian Delegation, Sohibul Iman, said on the sidelines of G20 forum entitled 'Financial System Reform dan Fight Against Corruption' in Mexico City on Saturday. He added that Indonesia welcome Mexico move.

The Head of Mexico Senate, Senator Ernesto Cordero Arroyo, said corruption in his countries was getting heavier. He said that Indonesia was able to tackle corruption because of its anti-corruption commission. "We would like to form the similar commission," he said.
