Palembang major: No leakage on national exams

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, PALEMBANG - Cheating scandals involving teachers and students have been part of the national exams for years. Palembang Major, Eddy Santana Putra, said optimistic that national exam in his region would not leak.

"I'm sure there are no leakages because it closely guarded by police officers," he said on Monday. Unlike previous year, there are only two packets type of sheets per class. Every student will get different sheet.

Palembang targeted number of graduation can reach 100 percent while last year this province reached 99,98 percent. Head of Department of Education Palembang, Riza Pahlevi added number of students who follow national exam are 25.777 students.
