President instructs minister to investigate over postponed national exams

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Indonesian President, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono instructed Minister of Education and Culture Mohammad Nuh to investigated the postponed national exams in 11 provinces of central Indonesia.

 

"I have instructed the Minister to overcome and investigated it immediately," he wrote on his Twitter account, Sunday night. National exam sheets should have been distributed on Monday but it was delayed due to printing problem.

President said three times in his account about the national exam and congratulated students who followed it. "If God's willinh, you all can pass it," he said. 

President adviced parents to support and pray for their children, and avoid to cause any distress. Grade 12 students across Indonesia will take the national exams on April 15 to 18. The exam accounts for 60 percent of a student’s final mark to determine whether they will graduate from high school.
