REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Russia has sent a commercial passenger plane 'Sukhoi Superjet 100' to Sky Aviation, an Indonesian airline, in February 2013. After passed through a number of checks, Sukhoi is finally operated.
"Sky Aviation is now using the aircraft," said Chairman of the Russia-Indonesia Friendship Association Sergey M Shakray on Tuesday. The satetement is confirmed by Indonesian ambassador to Russia, Djauhari Oratmangun.
Sukhoi Superjet 100 PK-ECL has been operated by by Sky Aviation for route Makassar to Sorong. A total of 67 passengers could be transported in two hour flight. The plane was shipped from Russian factory to Halim Perdana Kusuma Airport in Jakarta.
