Jokowi: Jakarta to host for World Kingdom's Exhibition

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Government of Jakarta will collborate with Gathering Forum of Kingdoms in Archipelago (FSKN) whill hold World Kingdom's Exhibition which will be held on December 5-8, 2013 at Jakarta Convention Center, Jakarta.

"Jakarta will act as host and kings from around the country and around the world, including from Europe, Asia and Africa will visit Jakarta," Governor of Jakarta, Joko Widodo or known as Jokowi, said on Wednesday.

Despite without any local kingdom, Jakarta as the capital city acts as the host with the power of royal in Indonesia. Jakarta also has a brand as organizer and cultural center of the country with Betawi as indigenous culture of Jakarta will be highlighted. 

According to Jokowi, the event will be an excellent meeting between all kings of the archipelago and the world. This activity is also an opportunity to introduce Jakarta at international stage. It can be used to build Jakarta's brand as the center for meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions (MICE).
