REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, SEMANGGI - Lukhi Rajnikarni Arvinbhal, a male of 38 years was found lying in his rented room in North Street, Pasar Baru, Jakarta on Tuesday morning. Police Chief of Sawah Besar, Com Sinto Silitonga said Arvinbhal was a textile merchant and Indian citizen.
"The body looks rotten," Silitonga said on Tuesday.
According to Tolani (61 years), friend of Arvinbhal who was also a witness, Arvinbhal didn't open the door when he visited him. A boardinghouse keeper, Asep, asked Tolani to open the door together. Then they found Arvinbhal's body lying.
Police directly went to that site and checked, but founded no signs of violance. Silitonga added, victim was taken to Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital for an autopsy. Meanwhile, police has been coordinating with Embassy of India in order to deliver information about Arvinbhal's death to his family in India.
