"A survey is conducted seven days after Eid. Data is obtained from a number of exit and entry points in Jakarta, such as passengers in bus stations, ports, airports and toll booths in cooperation with Jakarta Police," Head of Department of Population and Civil Registration in Jakarta, Purba Hutapea said on Tuesday.
He expected number of new comers could reach 51 thousand people, but 15 thousand of them were still in doubt to settle in Jakarta. They could return to their original places or looked for work in buffer zones, including Bogor, Depok, Tangerang and Bekasi.
