REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Indonesias Foreign Minister Marty Natalegawa will meet his Australian counterpart Julie Bishop to discuss future relations in the wake of allegations of Australia spying on Indonesias top leaders coming to light. Marty said on Thursday that the meeting would be aimed at discussing problems that have emerged following the revelation of the wire-tapping allegations. 

"President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono has assigned me to meet with my counterpart in connection with the problem," he stated.

He further pointed out that the two sides would try and reach an agreement regarding a code of ethics or a protocol for conducting future bilateral relations between the two countries.

"Mutual trust must be restored," Marty said.

He noted that the Indonesian government had stopped three cooperation programs with Australia, including intelligence data sharing, information exchange and holding joint military exercises due to the spying revelations.

"The government will clearly review all kinds of cooperation with Australia," Marty said.
