Tangerang's death toll of KRL vs. tanker truck collision rises to nine

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - The death toll in the crash of KRL in Bintaro , Tangerang, on Monday (9/12) afternoon, rises to nine people. Two new victims evacuated from the carriages are female.

According to ROL observation in the field, two female bodies are now evacuated to the Central Pertamina Hospital in Jakarta.

Surrounding residents estimated, 20 passengers were rescued in living conditions and critical most likely died. Because, majority of victims rescued were in severe conditions.

Previously it's reported seven people died in the collision between KRL Commuterline with Pertamina tanker truck at the intersection of Bintaro, Tangerang, on Monday (9/12). However, the identities of the seven victims were not yet known.

Besides evacuated to the RSPP, dead bodies and wounded victims were rushed to two hospitals, namely Dr. Suyoto RS and RS Fatmawati.
