REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, BANDARLAMPUNG -- An earthquake measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale shook West Lampung district on Monday evening, according to the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency

The epicenter of the quake which struck at 04.03 p.m. local time was located 287 km southwest of the district at a depth of 10 km, it said.

An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.1 is considered moderate and capable of causing considerable damage.
