Bad weather to hit Sunda Strait

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, BANDAR LAMPUNG - The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicted that bad weather still occured in southern part of Sunda Strait. Expert of BMKG in Lampung, Rintiana explained that the wave as high as two to three meters could occured in this location.

"Wind blows from southwest to west with speed of five to ten knots, wave as high as 0.5 to 1.25 meters with maximum height reaches 1.25 to 2.5 meters," Rintiana said recently.

Rain will also pour in west coast of Lampung and Indian Ocean. The wind blows from south to southwest at speed of 5 to ten knots, wave of 0.75 to 1.5 meters height and maximum wave of 1.5 to 2.5 meters.
