REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono launched his personal book entitled 'Selalu Ada Pilihan' (literally translated as 'There are always choices.') The book was based on his experiences as Indonesia’s leader over the past nine years and also as personal answer to his critics and political opponents.

"This book is my rights to respond on rumors, critics and even jokes I have experienced in more than nine years," President said on his Facebook account.

President said that he deliberately wrote the book as legacy to future leaders who would sit in his chair as Indonesian president. He hopes the book can seed ideas and make better leader who can answer challenges for the future.

"I dedicate this book to next president to get better preparation in facing challenges and burden as I did," Yudhoyono said.

Yudhoyono hopes the book provides complete information for public to understand what makes a leader. President also shares joy and sorrow during his office term.

The book has 824 pages and written by Yudhoyono himself in nearly nine years.
