This program also aims to integrate conservation aspect as Ragunan Zoo concerns on animal welfare, like animal feeds, animal cages, and also controlling voice noise in the zoo. Head of Pro Fauna Indonesia, Rozek Nursahid appreciated governor's decision.
"It's a good program. This effort will improve the quality of existing animals by providing a longer time to them to rest. It will also reduce animal stress," Nursahid said.
Once animals get a break, they can recover their psychology after a lot of activities and meet many visitors. Animals also need the addition of facilities, such as trees and playing zone.
