REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) will grill Angelina Sondakh, former legislator from the Democratic Party, in Hambalang sport center and other projects corruption case that involved her former colleague, Anas Urbaningrum (AU).
"She is going to be grilled in the AU case," Priharsa Nugraha, the KPK's news and information unit's head, stated here on Thursday.
Angie and Anas Urbaningrum were both members of the same faction in the House of Representatives (DPR), when Anas was still Deputy Secretary General of the Democratic Party's Executive Board.
On December 6, 2013, Angie, who has been sentenced to 12 years by the Supreme Court in a graft case, was grilled in a money laundering case involving M Nazaruddin, former treasurer of the Democratic Party.
The KPK detained Anas Urbaningrum, former Chairman of the Democratic Party, on January 10, over his alleged involvement in the graft-tainted Hambalang sports center construction project.
