REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, BATAM - Chairman of National Mandate Party (PAN), Hatta Rajasa welcomes the nomination of Jakarta Governor, Joko Widodo or popularly known as Jokowi, as a presidential candidate of Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDIP) in this year election. Yet, he underlined that PAN had no intention to form coalition with PDIP.

Rajasa said that he had been nominated by PAN to run for president. He promised to make some changes on policies to improve people's welfare as well as on health and educational issues.

"We must improve health and educational facilities. Let us make it better while we also continue what have been good today," Rajasa said during the campaign on Monday.

Oddly, Rajasa slipped his tongue by mentioning his party's sequence number as 9 instead of 8. Number 9 belongs to United Development Party (PPP).

PAN emphasized eight important points during the second reform today, including educational reform.
