REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, SUKABUMI - Presidential candidate of Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDIP), Joko Widodo (popularly known as Jokowi) expressed his opinion about a president's job.
"I know being a president is not easy. That's why I'm not cheering, but i put my faith on my parents' support," Jokowi said in front of his supporters and the party's cadres, recently.
Jokowi who also sits as the governor of Jakarta said that Indonesian people needed a change. Hence, he prefers building sincere bonding with people to relying only on big budget during the campaign.
"Any other candidates may have been ready with trillions of IDR, advertised on TV every night, but i don't. I don't even put my billboards on my own ," Jokowi said then expressed his optimism to win the presidential election.
