REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, KENDARI - Chairman of Gerindra Party`s Advisory Council, Prabowo Subianto was absent during a campaign scheduled in Kendari, Southeast Sulawesi, on Monday. According to Gerindra Party's chairman of council in Southeast Sulawesi, Anton Timbang, Subianto was absent because he wanted to attend the last trial of Wilfrida Soik, a female migrant worker from East Nusa Tenggara, accused of killing her employer in 2010.
"He has to accompany Wilfrida in her last trial in Kendari," Timbang said on Monday.
Subianto has sent a video to all cadres due to his absence. He departed to Malaysia at 05:30 am. Before they passed away, Wilfrida's parents asked Subianto to help their daughter.
