"Democratic Party will be the deciding factor due to Yudhoyono's central position," Hidayatullah said on Tuesday.
Coalition between Gerindra Party and Democratic Party will strengthen Subianto's postition to contest Joko Widodo (known as Jokowi) as presidential candidate from Indonesia Democratic Party of Struggle (PDIP). The coalition will combine votes of Gerindra (11.8 percent of votes) and Democratic party (9.6 percent of votes) and make the total votes 21, 4 percent or exceed the threshold target of 20 percent.
