President holds a plenary cabinet meeting to discuss general election

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono held a plenary cabinet meeting on Thursday to discuss the evaluation of legislative election on April 9 and economic development in the country towards the closure of United Indonesia Cabinet II on October 2014. He said that the general election went well and safely showing the democracy was better and mature.

"As we all know that the legislative election was secure and democratic," Yudhoyono said recently.

There is a new political tradition, parties, which have not managed to win accepting the result gracefully, while the winner party respecting other parties. All ministers who are also chairmen of political parties present at the meeting.

Yudhoyono said that all components of the nation had responsibilities to the success of implementation of presidential election on July 9, 2014. The inauguration will be held on October 20. During the ongoing political process, government continues to carry out its duties and ensures that all development programs can be implemented.
