REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Chairman of Central Board of Democratic Party, Achsanul Qosasi announced on Monday that his party would rally behind Prabowo Subianto and Hatta Rajasa in the 9 July's presidential elections.
"Definitely we support Prabowo Subianto-Hatta Rajasa. We asked all party cadres to rally their support," Qosasi said.
The decision was made after assessing that Prabowo-Hatta could comply with Democratic Party's program. Qosasi said that the currently ruling party expected Prabowo- Hatta continue develompemnt program under Susilo Bambang Yudhyono'a leadership. "Prabowo-Hatta's mission and vision are quite straightforward," he said.
He underlined that all Democratic Party caders must support the continuities of Yudhoyono's program.
"There are so many things to be done to improve and evaluate his programs as well as to achieve the goals," he said.
