REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- The Supreme Audit Board (BPK) said the government reported state income including grants reached Rp1,438.89 trillion for 2013.

The income rose 7.53 percent year-on-year but only 95.8 percent of the target set for 2013, BPK chairman Rizal Ramli told the legislator in a plenary session here on Tuesday.

Meanwhile state spending reached Rp1,650.56 trillion , or 10.67 percent higher than in 2012 but only 95.62 percent of the budget target set for 2013, Rizal said quoting the government's report about state budget realization of 2013.

He said budget deficit was Rp211.67 trillion or 38.08 percent larger than deficit in 2012.

"In the 31 December 2013 balance sheet , the government recorded Rp66.59 trillion in unspent budget," he said.

He said assets were valued at Rp3,567.59 trillion, with liabilities at Rp2,652.10 trillion including Rp1.890,75 trillion in long term domestic and foreign debts.

He said BPK has submitted the auditing results of Central Government Financial Report to the House of Representatives , the Regional Representative Council and the president.

The audit result was handed over to the House of Representatives to make it easier for the legislative body to take a decision on the draft law on accountability report of the state budget by the president, he said.
