REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Brazillian Ambassador to Indonesia, Paulo Alberto da Silveira Soares said that Indonesian football could be much better than today. The Red and White team has the potential to enter the World Cup.

"Indonesian football players could be developed. They could be much better in future," Soares said in the opening of 'Jagat Laga Bola Photo Exhibition' in Jakarta recently.

According to Soares, Indonesia may need a Brazillian coach who is former popular football player or retired player. Japanese national team ever hired a Brazillian coach, then boomed in football match.

"Japan hired Zico, a legendary football player from Brazil. Now, Japanese team has been advanced rapidly," Soares added.

According to Soares, previous conflict between two organizations in Indonesian football should be avoided. Without transparency, soccer players can suffer and difficult to develop their ability. Mutia Ramadhani/Antara
