REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- State owned publicly listed builder, Wijaya Karya (Wika) Beton recorded new contract of 223 billion IDR. Company's total contract has reached 1.3 trillion IDR since the beginning of the year.
Coorporate Secretary, Puji Haryadi said that the value of new contract had reached 40 percent of total target this year.
"We targetted total contract of 3.5 trillion IDR this year," Haryadi said on Wednesday.
The contracts consist of Kualanamu toll road project in North Sumatra, Dompak Island bridge in Riau Islands and oil and gas infrastructure project in Bontang, East Kalimantan. Company also work on Palimanan-Cikampek toll road project in West Java and also construction of new factory of Astra Honda Motor.
Total of company's order book has reached 2.9 trillion IDR per June 2014, including the carry over from previous years worth 1.6 trillion IDR. Company is optimistic to achieve the target by the end of 2014. Wika Beton focus on private project.
