REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono is scheduled to meet with president-elect Joko Widodo alias Jokowi on August 27 in Bali. According to presidential spokesman Julian Aldrin Pasha, the meeting will take place after Yudhoyono wrapping up his official visit to Timor Leste.
"President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono will meet with president-elect Joko Widodo on August 27, 2014 in Bali," Pasha said on Monday evening.
Pasha said that Yudhoyono held an official visit to Timor Leste on 25-27 August. He then will fly from Timor Leste to Bali to meet Jokowi.
"The meeting is initiated by the President and it will be a milestone in political leaders transition in our country," Pasha added.
