REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, DENPASAR -- The German Film Festival 2014 in Indonesia is being organized in nine cities and will screen leading German movies, Head of Culture Programs of German Cultural Center Goethe Institute Katrin Sohns stated here on Thursday.

"The nine cities are Jakarta, Bandung (West Java), Surabaya (East Java), Banda Aceh, Yogyakarta, Palu (Central Sulawesi), Balikpapan (East Kalimantan), Makassar (South Sulawesi), and Denpasar (Bali)," she remarked.

She noted that the annual festival in Indonesia has been held since 2012, and this year it will be the third time.

In Bali, the festival is taking place in Gianyar, on August 28-30, 2014.
