REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, DENPASAR -- New domestic terminal at Ngurah Rai International Airport, Bali will be operated in the middle of this month. The location occupies former departure terminal located in western part of airport.
"The new terminal for domestic arrival will be operated on September 17, 2014," Public Relation of state owned airport operator PT Angkasa Pura I, Shively said on Tuesday.
According to the master plan of Ngurah Rai Airport in 2011, the domestic departure terminal and international departure terminal will be relocated. Now, the international departure terminal is already using new location on the third floor, while domestic terminal on the first floor.
On September 16 at 09.00 PM, it will be the last time for passengers using the old building. After that, X-ray machines, chairs and other facilities will be gradually relocated. Angkasa Pura management will carry out socialization to all passengers at airport.
Airport tax for domestic passenger will be adjusted to 75,000 IDR from previous tariff of 40,000 IDR per passenger, while for international flight is about 200,000 IDR per passenger and it has been implemented a few months ago.
