According to him, Jokowi will ask the participant countries to support the idea that would be integrated into his maritime axis concept. With the 10 member countries of the ASEAN, a total of 20 countries are expected to be involved in it.

"The President will specifically integrate Indonesia's concept of the world maritime axis with China's concept of a New Silk Road in the 21st Century," the cabinet secretary noted.

Andi explained that besides putting forward his idea for infrastructure development, Jokowi would also meet with a number of heads of state and heads of government.

"The President will likely have bilateral meetings with the Russian President and US President. He will also specifically meet with China's President and Prime Minister. He also has plans to visit Chinese industrial zone in Tianjin," Andi revealed.
