Five Chinese arrested in Palu for violating immigration law

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, PALU -- Central Sulawesi's Immigration Office has taken five Chinese nationals into custody for violating Indonesia's immigration law.

"The foreigners work in a mining company in Palu city," Andi of the Palu immigration office revealed here on Tuesday.

They were arrested at a mining site located in Watusampu village, Ulujadi sub-district, Palu City, on Monday.

The arrest was made following a tip-off from the public.
