REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, PANGKALAN BUN -- President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo and his entourage arrived in Pangkalan Bun, Central Kalimantan, at 9.30 a.m. local time, on Friday, to attend a gathering with regional military leaders.
Boarding a Super Puma helicopter from Pangkalan Bun, the president, in the company of Minister/Cabinet Secretary Pratikno, Agriculture Minister Amran Sulaiman, and Central Kalimantan Governor Teras Narang, flew into Kampung Pulau to give a directive to the regional military leaders across the country.
President Jokowi and First Lady Iriana left the Halim Perdanakusuma Airport in Jakarta, at 8 a.m. local time and arrived 90 minutes later in Pangkalan Bun.
Earlier on Thursday, Cabinet Secretary Andi Widjojanto stated that the head of state will meet regional military leaders from all over Indonesia in Kampung Pulau, Central Kalimantan.
