REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- The police in Kalideres area, West Jakarta, confiscated 1.2 tons of hashish from a container truck on Wednesday morning, according to West Jakarta Police spokesman Senior Commissioner Fadil Imran.
"We discovered the hashish in a container truck on Wednesday morning," Imran stated, adding that the police seized the marijuana when the truck, driven by Muhammad Nasir, was passing through the Pluit area in Penjaringan.
He revealed that during interrogation, the driver of the container truck acknowledged that he had transported the hashish from Aceh province for distribution in Jakarta.
"Muhammad Nasir hid the hashish in the container," Imran remarked, adding that the driver was still being interrogated to uncover the drug syndicate of the hashish dealer.
