REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- One of the Agency for Assessment and Application of Technology (BPPT) building's rooms on the fourth floor caught fire on Tuesday night due to electrical short circuit, a security official has said.

"The fire originating from the air exhaust fan has been extinguished," one of the building's security officials Sahrudin told Antara.

According to him, 11 fire brigade trucks were deployed to extinguish the fire.

"We have controlled the fire, nothing serious," he explained.
