REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, YOGYAKARTA -- The Gajah Mada University (UGM) in Yogyakarta will soon establish the School of Nationality to foster a spirit of nationalism and state defense, UGM spokesman Sutarman noted here on Tuesday (10/3).
He stated that the School of Nationality will be established, so that Indonesian people are no longer colonized by ways of politics, law, economy, and religion.
"We will design the school in such a way that the public realizes and understands the characteristics and values of nationality," Sutarman remarked.
He revealed that the teaching curriculum to be developed at the School of Nationality in terms of the economic aspect will be related to creative economy, with the goal of achieving economic self-reliance.
However, he added that the curriculum is still being developed by a team of the school and is planned to be implemented in July or before August 17, 2015.
